Laminate Floor over Linoleum?

Is it OK to put a laminate floor on top of a linoleum floor? If so, do I need to put down an underlayment on top of the linoleum?

Welcome to the forums! The linoleum must be in good condition and not torn in places, etc. Follow the laminate flooring manufacturer's instructions on what they require as far as underlayment. Most assuredly you can't use the linoleum as such.

Thanks fot the info. I'll check on the underlayment when the floor comes in.
