Scratches on Parquet Flooring

Will be trying to repair scratches on parquet wood flooring. The floor covering is several years old. I believe sanding and refinishing the scratched areas would not match the other flooring. The scratches were caused by furniture being scooted across the floor. The scratches are white in appearance. The wood colors range from Dark Walnut to Honey Oak. Is there a product which will remove the white discoloration?

Have you tried using mineral spirits? It might remove the white.

Thank you, Marksr. Will begin work next week. Your idea of using mineral spirits is an excellent one which I had not thought about. Thanks! I will give it a try.
