Tile to Laminate Transition...please help

Hi All, I'm hoping you can help me this this. I am transitioning from Laminate to Tile from Living Room to Kitchen. Only problem is the Tile is higher than the Laminate. I bought a SimpleSolutions reducer but It seems to only work if the other surface is lower than the laminate. Any suggestions? I am completely stumped. Having Chistmas at my place so I would like to put the transition in by then. Thanks so much in advance.

The laminate trim "kits" that match your wood floor come in interlocking pieces. First install the plastic "U" runner across the opening. Build the transition you want from the parts in the package and press it in the plastic "U". Try turning the piece you have around to where the deep part is on the laminate and the shallow part is on the tile. How will you secure it down?
