Nailing down Knotty pine floor

I have some 60 year old Knotty Pine I am using for Kitchen floor.
Was wonder if anyone could suggest a good nail to use to nail down Knotty Pine I am using?
I need something that is serrated or threaded so they can securely adhere floor to sub floor.
Can not use normal flooring nailer because of type of boards.
They do not have locking tabs on ends so have to nail down through board itself not the lip that is on edge. Lip I have is on botton on 1 side and top on other, instead of nailing through these lips I was just going to nail right into face of boards.
Any suggestions?

Thanks for the idea.
Someone else gave me one I may go with if it isn't too time consuming.
Brad nail down floor with glue under.
Then go back and drill pilot holes and install square or rectangle headed screws for an older look. Screws would be what is actually holding floor down, first brad nails would be temp until screws are installed.
Any good suggestions on square headed antique looking screws supplier?

I'd drill out the hole a bit, use a modern day screw and then "hide" it with a dowel glued in place and sanded smooth with the floor.

Or use trim head screws and just use wood filler in the countersunk hole it will create on its own.
