I need help with an uneven concrete slab

Hey guys, I bought a new (old) home and decided to put wood in some areas. This adventure included chipping up all the tile, that seemed to consume the house. My dump run was weighed in at 1500 lbs. Anyhow, when I removed the ceramic from the entry way I noticed that there was marble that the person just put the ceramic on top of. So I chipped that up too and it was then I noticed that this entire entry way (5' by 10') sits about 1/3 below the adjoining dining room and hallway. Can anyone recommend how I proceed, I am leaning towards using some self leveling concrete (I know it still entails work), but I want to esnure I do it correctly. Any tips for this novice???
