Opinions on Vintage brand? Or on their Solid-Sawn product?

Hey everyone - just looking for opinions from anyone who has experience with Vintage (brand) hardwood floors. I'm considering thier Old Mission Hickory.

I have a concrete slab foundation, so I'm deciding between their crafted engineered line and their solid-sawn line (which is a type of engineered hardwood which is supposed to be even more stable).

Thanks!

Welcome to the forums! How is this flooring installed? Nail down, click lock, glue? On concrete you are limited to click lock or glue, and the latter may not be an option.

It can be glued down, and that's probably what we'll do. Vintage's Solid-Sawn engineered hardwoood is supposed to be more stable than typical engineered hardwood because it is "balanced" - meaning the top, middle, and bottom layers are similar in thickness - and the top and bottom layers are of a similar species. They claim that this lessens expansion and contraction of the floor when compared to a typical engineered hardwood. I'm just looking for anyone who has used this brand (Vintage) to get some opinions.

Thanks!
Brandon
