bathroom cabinet installed over floating floor?

We are redoing our powder room and want to install a floating floor, probably vinyl planks that click together (Mannington has a new Lock in click type that requires no adhesive). Problem is that everywhere it says with a laminate/vinyl/floating floor you are supposed to install the floor around kitchen or bathroom cabinets NOT UNDER it. The bathroom cabinet that we've purchased however is not solid all around the bottom where it hits the floor. It's on four legs and you will see the floor underneath it so we'd have to install the cabinet on top of the floor. Does this mean we can't use a floating floor? Will that compromise the floor if we do it?

The vanity you describe is no more or less than a chair or table. I would say you would have no problem installing it on top of your laminate. Basically if you install a standard square based cabinet on top of laminate, the laminate will cease to float and it will buckle up on you.

Thanks, chandler. That's sort of what I was thinking. Good to have the confirmation!
