How to fix gummed up oil on new hardwood floor
husband applied PurSolid linseed oil product on beautiful new hardwood floors. did not wipe or buff. now they are gummed up horrid mess. should I strip the oil, wait for it to dry and resand or what?? i am heartborken and need help. thanks for any advice.

It might not dry on it's own
get a rag fairly wet with mineral spirits and scrub the floor. You may need to change rags as you go. Be sure to dispose of the rags properly - outside!! in a covered container, they can become a fire hazard 
I don't use rubbing oils very often but unless I'm mistaken, you ALWAYS cut linseed oil in half with paint thinner before you apply it. Cleaning the wood with a thinner rag might result in a finished product
