Old hardwood floors have spaces between end of boards

We bought a 50 yr. home. The hardwood floors have been refinished. There are spaces between the ends of some of the boards. Is there any filler that could possibly be put between the spaces?

Odd that the refinisher didn't address the spaces before the final coating went down. I doubt there is much you can do at this point. Had it been an issue before finishing the floors, a good stainable wood filler could have been used, stained to match, then finished with the rest of the floors. How big a gap are we talking? You could still use a colored putty at this point. To keep the oils in the putty from being an issue - use a q-tip or artist brush to apply poly over the putty.
