Half-way through, Laminate Wont Lay Flat

Out of a ~350 sqft project, we've laid about half the floor with no huge problems. We're DIYers, using 7mm bamboo laminate, laying on concrete w/ moisture barrier underlayment. Now, all of a sudden, the new boards we lay will not lay flat. We snap them on and they're elevated in the air about a half inch to an inch. We've been using the pull bar and tapping block to make sure all boards are in. They're not warped.

Will trim be enough to hold everything flat at the end? Or is there some way we can correct this now? I don't want to keep going with this flooring floating higher and higher off the ground. Please help!

If you are staggering the joints there may be one piece that is of slightly different dimensions than the one next to it. This is preventing the click and lock from engaging. Other common issues are that the female side of the click and go has some sort of crud stuck in it. Remove the floor back to where you see it is flat and reinstall paying close attention to the both sides of the locking mechanism. Even a small chip lodged in the groove will prevent fully seating of the flooring.

Are you leaving at least 1/2" gap on both ends of the runs? Sounds as if it is being pressured up by being pressed against the walls with no expansion joint.

Problem Solved

We did leave expansion gaps but discovered that many of the boards are indeed warped. Once we singled out the warped board boxes, it's been smooth sailing. We had the boxes stored in diff areas of the house for over a year (lazy start, I know). Thanx for the input!
