Using a floating laminate floor over a subfloor with a slope

I have a 14 x 36 room that slopes approximately 4 inches from center towards each end. So that's about 4 in drop over 15 ft. The crown is fairly sharp over a supporting wall in the center. I have read in manufacturers' installation instructions to not exceed 1 inch drop over 6 ft. So this a little over that. Can I use this type of flooring? Any tricks I should employ? Thanks in advance.

The only possible way to put laminate on a floor like that would be to install a transition strip right down the crown and I'm not sure that would work. Nothing else will.
