Laying Laminate Wood in out of square room

What is the best way to lay laminate when none of the walls are straight? I'm assuing you have to cut the planks near the starting wall so the lines are straight?

Welcome to the forums! You would determine how to "square" the room, either by pulling corners or using a framing square. How much out of square is the room? Yes, you would, after determining a square line, cut the flooring to that line. Laminate will float, so it will move as you install it, so be careful not to crowd it too much at the perimeters.
