Laminate flooring and bullnose doorway ?

ok so carpets all ripped up and im ready to lay laminate on my slab with a vapor barrior.

but how do i handle this?

iv got no problem cutting around the bullnose with expansion gap but im worried about how to cover that gap.

doesnt look like ill be able to use trim in this area

what are everyones thoughts?

Undercut the door jamb, door stop and bullnose so that the floor can slide under just slightly, which will still allow room for expansion provided you clean out behind it.

Is that a metal door jamb? Or just a lot of paint? Cutting base trim for bullnose isn't difficult. You would cut 22.5 degree angles on three pieces allowing the smallest piece to be installed across the bull nose, then caulk the gap when finished.

I am concerned with your installing laminate on a slab. Is this above or on grade, or below grade? Have you done a moisture test? Is your laminate designated for below grade installation?
