Best Stain Pens?

I'm putting in dark engineered wood floors. Hallmark's birch stout to be exact. Who makes the best stain pens to cover minor scratches?

Thanks

I never use those pens but whenever touching up stain like that it's best to go a shade lighter as the scratched area usually stains darker than the surrounding smooth wood. If the scratch doesn't go thru the poly you are likely better off using some wax and buffing it out.

What wax would you recommend? The coating seemed pretty tough when I tested it on a spare piece of wood. I had a hard time doing much more than a scuff.

Most any wood floor wax will work, I like Johnson's Paste Wax.

I have used Varathane's pens. Works almost as good as a magic marker! ;-) They are darker sometimes but if your floor is dark, that shouldn't be a problem.
