Flooring for summer cottage

Cottage is heated in spring and fall, but subject to -30 winter after it is winterized with no power for 5 months. I removed original dirty worn carpet which was installed over 1/4 plywood which was over two layers of linoleum oilcloth, which were on original boards. I leveled and installed 1/2 ply throughout.

Would an engineered hardwood be ok, vinyl? Many cottages have laminate and seems to survive winter. Suggestions

Laminate would have been my last suggestion.
My dad has sheet vinyl in NH that's been down for at least 20 years in a summer cottage and it still looks like new.

My first though was ceramic but vinyl would be a good choice as well and probably less work.
