How to change color of hardwood floor

Hey guys,

New to the forum hoping someone can help me out...

How do I change the color of this hardwood floor to a dark gray like the photo attached...?

Thanks,

You will have to remove the existing floors seal coat, by sanding or with chemicals, in order for the new stain to penetrate the wood. Otherwise it will just sit on top of the existing finish.

There is a stain and varnish in one products out there, but I don't know how durable they are for floor traffic.

Tinted polys are not recommended for floor use! As the poly wears so does the color. Sanding down to bare wood and refinishing is the only good way to change the color ..... but you'd loose the 'texture' in your flooring.
