Does the floor have room to expand at the edges of the room? (far left and right sides of the room in question)

Laminate flooring?
Installed in a basement, or any area area where there's a chance it got wet?

That may be a towel hanging there, a bathroom?

Sure looks like swelling from getting wet.

Also look at the overall finish on the surface.
Looks like hard water spots or mold.

Found the issue - this is the T fitting in the kitchen sink cabinet that was making leak. Need to get the plumber in to fix. Wondering if I could leave the flooring until summer or there is a chance of mold to grow under it?
