temporary flooring?
I need to remove my current wood floor and subfloor to allow access to the crawl space for some foundation work. Once they have finished I am going to put back a temporary floor (6months) until more renovation work is planned.
OSB board might be a bit rough to walk on but plywood is expensive.
Any recommendations for a temporary floor and how to make it smooth without too much cost bearing in mind it will be ripped up again 6 months later...

I'd be using Advantech, using decking screws, and lay out some cheap room sized rugs.
Advantech will hold up better then plywood or regular OSB and will be able to be removed and replaced again later so there is no waste.

We had our bedroom floor half done for 6 months waiting for summer to come around to install (long story) but I had the silicon paper down with the seams duct taped and we survived.
Even some red rosin paper will work!

Going to have to check your local area for pricing, it's cheaper around here and just a far better product then plywood, comes with a lifetime warranty, there are no voids, stronger, holds up to moisture better.
I have not used plywood for a subfloor in at least 10 years.
