Can’t get 2 pieces of laminate to lock in around cabinet
I am trying to replace several pieces of laminate where my refrigerator leaked. I suspect the problem is that there is not enough room from the overhang of the Bottom of the cabinet to get the piece at enough angle to get it to lock in. It appears to be in place but when I push it flat, the joint separates about 1/8”
i can post pictures or a video if that will help

#1, Double check the T & G for flaws or trash.
#2, Never just try to lower it in place in one pass, wiggle it up and down getting it closer to the sub floor each time while applying pressure toward the main floor.
#3, Once it's in use the Z bar to give it a few taps to lock in place.
If it's still trying to lift tapping on it straight down will sometimes pop it in.
I always use 1/4 rd. at the base and that would also help hold it in place, never ever glue or nail the flooring to the subfloor!
