Repairing clear finish on new floor?

Hi all-

i just recently moved into a new home and completely renovated the house including newly installed/refinished oak flooring. Unfortunately, some of the clear coat lifted due to contractors/movers taping protective paper to the floor. Can this be repaired simply by touching up these spots with the clear coat? Best way to prep? The clear coat is a water base Bona product. Stain is Minwax, although stain seems fine. Thoughts?

You'd need to sand and recoat complete individual boards.

Yes, you should only need to scuff the intact poly and smooth out the chip. Shouldn't be any need to sand into the stain.
