Subfloor booming

I've only temporarily put a 3/4 plywood subfloor down. It will eventually become the main subfloor bit isit sounding like a drum in places. Can this be fixed by putting more screws in and adhesive?

Explain 'put down temporarily' If the plywood isn't secure it will vibrate.

At the moment it has 3 screws across the 4' span every 27" (just spacing) and no glue.
what's recommended for spacing for a permanent install?

I'm not sure although I've always put the fasteners about every 8"-10"
