staining floors

we started staining the floor in the wrong direction, now we aredone and we have this big ugy strip going against te rest of a beautiful floor. how do we fix it. help.

Please accept this in the positive way that it is intended. Some jobs are just better done by a Pro. This is an example of the need for training and experience. Finishing, staining in this case, is not something one can learm from the label of a can or bottle. I also don't suggest that you try heart surgery or tight rope walking, among a some other things. ;=) The lure of cheap has a price or you pay for your education.
