concrete slab prep for vinyl

(actually, I'm not sure if we have laminate or vinyl plank...)
Removed tack strips and some of the nails have pulled up a shallow layer of concrete.
Since this is around the edge of the room, is this an issue?
To be safe, what about using some Quickcrete Concrete patch?

I do plan to let it fully cure before laying the flooring

The rest of the slab does not need to be leveled, so that's good news.

You would be better off using a vinyl patch or a product like Ardex Feather Finish.

Not clear what the differences are.
I'd like a premixed product. Can only find Ardex in largeish bags of powder.
Is SimplePrep Premixed Floor Patch a suitable product?
