Transition between 2 different floating floors

Hi all,
I'm planning to install a 5/8" thick engineered wood floating floor in all rooms except the kitchen. The plan for the kitchen is marmoleum click planks which is 3/8" thick and also a floating floor.
My question is how do I transition between these two floating floors when there will be about a 1/4" difference in floor elevation?
Thanks for any help!
Sue

You use a reducer transition. Or if they don't have one in your color, buy 2 standard transitions, rip one in half and glue that ripped piece to the bottom of one side of your transition.

Thanks XSleeper. So a reducer transition would allow the marmoleum (lower elevation floor) the expansion is needs?

That's how they work, yes.
