Polyurethane (Oil Based) Recommendations?

I am going to be refinishing my hardwood (oak) floors in the near future and I would like to know what brands of oil based polyurethanes are best.

I have been researching this online and have not found any useful information; multiple weird sites with recommendations all over the place.

Thanks in advance!

Are you wanting to use an oil base poly or waterbased? Generally the stores that sell hardwood stock the better floor polys.

Definitely going with oil based, or water modified oil. Really weird that there is so little info online comparing the brands considering the multitudes of info about paint.

Probably not a big selection of floor poly like there is with paint. I seldom do floors, when I do I usually either use MinWax or whatever one of the local hardwood suppliers has in stock.

Commercial Water based is best

Go to a reputable hardwood floor dealer and get their best water based product. They will apply easier and last longer… apply 3-4 light coats 👍
