Installed pergo original planked oak in 1 room a year ago. Price then was $82 a box. Considering doing 4 more rooms of totaling 1200 square feet. Home depot now has it for $61 a box, they are discontinuing it. Should I wait to see if if goes lower in price? Pergo presto is about $63 a box. Is the presto as good as the original, I know it doesn't require glue, but? Also, found pergo original on internet at $53 a box. Is there a disadvantage to ordering through the internet?

Home Depot has reportedly found another supplier (in addition to Pergo) They may need more room in the stores and will reduce the number of Pergo items. The other thing could be that the glueless flooring is taking over the market. Pergo Presto is glueless and made with a different substrate and in a different factory than the Original, that I thik is superior to the Pergo Original. Glue will cost about $.06 a sq. ft. will you need straps, clamps, special glue cleaning supplies to install Pergo Original? Have you shopped elsewhere and other brands that offer more color/pattern choices at about the same prices? Check out my web site. There is information and nothing for sale there.
