we have a hard wood floor that has like a old flooring tar that we just can't get off the wood floor under it and we have tried alot of things and nothing works how can we get it off?

Your question is not very clear. If you have hardwood floors, have you removed them and there is an adhesive underneath that you are trying to remove? Please be more specific.
