Laying a laminate floor with an arc

Hi all,

I want to lay a laminate floor that ends in an arc. How do I finish this edge? It transitions to carpet.

"P" Will the edges be exposed? And is this at a junction with "other" flooring or at a change in elevation. (ie a stair)

The laminate floor extends out of a kitchen to a family room, transitioning to carpet at the same height. I can cut the arc at the end of the floor, but this would leave an unfinished butt. I am trying to avoid that. Or should I not care--will the carpet guys be able to cover the unfinished edge?

Your response indicates that carpet will be installed AFTER your laminate. The carpet guy can place his tackless in a way to hide the edge of the laminate. There is a metal edge trim that can be applied. There is an aluminum Tee transition that will cover both laminate and carpet. That gives you 3 options and will be pleased to provide specifics in an Email if you inquire.
