Question 3/8" wood flooring or 3/4" for kitchen remodel?

Heard 3/8" is better when remodeling because of matching up with adjacent floors. We're looking at Bruce hardwood flooring, oak. Any input is appreciated!

I don't understand the question, but I'll try. If you're contemplating matching the floors at a later date. More times than often many non traditional hardwood lines are discontinued which makes it next to impossible to find anything that will work.

On the other hand 3/4" solids will be around far longer and the milling never changes.
