Question (Urgent) Installing Floating floors vertically

I'm going to soon be installing oak engineered floating floors. I am new to this. I have copied installation instructions from a few web-sites but I can't find an answer to this question. I'm installing the floors in my livingroom and diningroom. The livingroom is sunken. My question is how do I install the flooring on the vertical part of the floor between the 2 rooms? It is carpeted now, so I'm not sure what the sub-floor is. Should I glue the floating floor to this vertical surface? Please help.

Most likely... Yes. But if the area is extremely large I may alter the Yes.
