sweating cement floor in screened in porch

I have a breezeway that is enclosed by walls and screened windows and doors. The cement floor sweats really bad. We have tried painting with cement paint but even the paint will not stick because of the sweating. Any suggestions on what type of floor we could lay in there that will make it safer and more attractive? We have thought of rubber sport court but it is rather expensive. Maybe we're looking in the wrong places for it. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Is Lake Arthur low enough so the slab is below the water level as is often the case in Louisiana? Does the floor dry out if you leave the windows wide open?

The windows and doors are only screen therefore the room is never closed in. And it will dry when the humidity and moisture level are down. I don't know about water level.

Outdoor porch floor

My front porch (which faces north, has a roof, and goes across the front of my house) is currently covered with an indoor-outdoor carpeting which is ugly and dirty. The porch is cement and I want to replace the carpeting with some kind of tile. Changing out threshold?

Hello, My wife wanted to change the front door threshold from brass to silver. I purchased the threshold at Lowe's expecting a simple process. However, when I unscrewed the old threshold I noticed it is under the side molding running on opposite sides of the door framing. What is the best way to remove this molding without causing significant damage to the boards. I attempted to pry off the side molding boards with a hammer and flat head screwdriver but the boards did not seem to respond very well.. they looked like they wanted to give way and crack. Any ideas/tips on the best way to remove these boards and change out the threshold?? Thanks, JoeyRead More
