My psychic prediction for 2005:

Sometime this year, tae will, for the first time ever, capitalize the first letter of the first word he types in a sentence.

J/K, man. The Steelers definitely have a tough road. Competition (especially in the AFC) is fierce this year. NE, Indy, SD, and a host of others all have the power to maul anyone at any time.

Time will tell.

My prediction is based solely on the theory that most teams who stomp through the season tend to crash at the end.
I too remember the steelers when they were the shiznit. What a powerhouse they were.

True, true, true. There are many examples.

Yeah, those were the days. The Immaculate Reception, The Plant, 5 Rings. Ahhhhhhhhhh.

Ok, enough nostalgia. Dynasties are all well and good, but I admit that I like the newer ways in which dynasties are pretty much non-existant. It's more interesting. Do you really wanna watch the SAME team win evey year? Where's the competition or fun in that? I love my Steelers, but if they started winning at least the AFC Championship every year, I'd get very bored, very fast.

My magic 8-ball says "Yes Definetly" when I asked if Pitts will win the S.Bowl, so it's final cause we all know the magic 8-ball is always right. http://www.mattelgames.com/magic8/flash_index.asp try it yourself if you don't believe me.

By the way what was the only team to beat them this year??

Crap, the Magic Eight Ball told me, "My sources say no." That's not a good sign... LOL

Baltimore in week 2. That was when Tommy was hurt, Ben came in after that, and although he mounted an offensive Tommy is incapable of, they weren't able to come back.

Chris

PS. Although that Steelers have a 14 game winning streak, I think it's also important to note that including his senior year in college, Big Ben has won his last 24 games in a row as a starter! I think 24 is right. If not, it's real close to that.

Well, the Jets are coming to town again! The Steelers beat 'em once already. Will they beat 'em again?

Yeah, I think so...

Fingers crossed, hair still not cut, and pumpkin mush are still in full effect!

Well, my Eagles get to face Dandy Randy Moss. If he shoots the moon in Philly, they may shoot him!! It would not be a smart move on his part.

Well, I truly believe in "Any Given Sunday", but in theory, the Eagles will run all over the Vikings.

However, with TO gone, they may not if Culpepper has another fine day.

For the Eagles to win, they must get ahead early, then control the clock for 40 minutes.

Steelers leading the pack in more than one way. That's the PA way! God, I love that town.

Could I get this back on track, please?

Anyone have Super Bowl predictions this year?

I say Steelers vs. Falcons with the Steelers winning 24-20.

Steelers versus Patriots and Eagles versus Falcons. Should be two really great games. And, the winners will probably go to the Super Bowl!

Talking

The Steelers may have beaten the Pats in the regular season, but the Pats did win in the important rematch. How well would the Steelers do in a more difficult division such as the AFC East?

The Pats won the super bowl, but please DO NOT talk to me about dynasty!!! I stopped listening to sports radio for the past week because of all the dynasty hoopla. It is almost enough to make one vomit.
