Detriot Lions on home TV

Wow---- it appears that the Lions are actuall going to allow
us to watch them lose another game on home TV.
If their game is not sold out--they black-out TV for the home
viewing area---naturally, no home games have been shown.
Lots of ruckkkkk.....................

when they were interviewing one of the lions he had a bag over his head. he didn't want people to know who he was. its a shame. fire the players fire the coach the manager the owner everybody and start over. its nothing but a joke.

How much do they pay you watch the games and listen to the commercials?

Maybe it should be Detriot (as in riot) instead of Detroit?

Was 1967 the end of Halloween when you could not tell the goons from the goons and no kid ever wanted to be a fireman after that?

I think that was the Halloween with the looting and burning.

About 10 years ago, I was on a bus trip from outstate that was to stop at a very grand old theater to see the Radio City Rockettes Christmas Show in a nearly "abandoned" part of downtown. The bus waited until it could park directly in front of the theater. We could not get out of the bust until the police were stationed in the 20' between the bus and theater.

Michigan residents are the "Jack Lalane" of experts in exercises of futility.

Sports included (supposedly a 'relief') we are unquestionably the current authority on any societal pursuit that one could possibly come up with...as we have literally seen/payed for it all at one time or another in the last 100 or so years.

Very hard to be proud of much in this state at the time....as its residents haven't put much more effort into actually standing up for what is right (politically correct or not)...than a Lions defense.

That is because the automotive industry retirees are only part-time residents and spend the winter in Florida, Texas or Arizona (from Thnksgiving to April). Not so much for Ford because the took a nice clean smaller early retirement package.

Nice retirement benfits that they now want everyone else to pay for. One of the few places in the world where you get laid off but may keep getting paid with benefits for a long time.

It's been a sweet ride all these years---but the folks that are still working under the old
contract will be replaced by a machine in time.............
The new folks are coming in at $15 per hour.
My neighbor's son ( Ford engr ) retired last year under a reduced retirement.
Poor guy--$60,000 per year--+ about $1800 per year to buy medical insurance.
When he hits 65--SS will be deducted from 60K...
Poor guy--claims he will just be able to survive...........
Ain't life a b---h..........................
He owns 2 homes in MI---one in FL................

I'd rather talk trash about the Lions to the biggest, baddest, meanest fan in the state...than to ask just one Michigan Republican politician as to exactly who he or she was physically afraid of...that every other (true) conservative in this entire country apparently wasn't.

Being the worst team in NFL history is pretty much nothing when compared with being the worst failure (by far) in world industrial history.

Look at it this way -

They can't get too much worse, no matter who runs the Lions team. Same thing that applies to GM. Somehow, Toyota and Hundai pay more per hour than GM in the U.S. and has a better profit history plus they use a lot of the same subcontractors/suppliers.

It seems Ford has an interst in the Lions, but it may be just a toy (not a profit center) or an obligation to the public. - Sort of like the Edsel.

this is the first team in history to LOSE A WHOLE SEASON. they didn't win 1 GAME. why are people even paying to go to the games when i can watch them lose on TV for free. get rid of ford the coach the players and start over from scratch. the tigers turned themselfs around but the lions can't cause of ford.
