Bowling Ball -- Enlarging finger holes

I have a Columbia 300 8 lb. bowling ball. The fingers are a little too small, and I'm wondering if it's possible to enlarge the holes with a drill? If so, can you also give guidance on how to smooth it down once you get the holes to the right size?

Thank you very much.

8 lb? Kids ball?

Anyway, most places that sell them, would prob do it for $20 or so...Maybe more on the island.

Problem is centering the holes to redrill. A simple flap sander would smooth them off.

Sounds like it might be best to have the "pro shop" do it.

Thank you.

Having the pro shop measure you would be a good idea. Instead of just going generically bigger they will go to the proper size. You may also need the hole spacing changed.
