I can't imagine why people would pay to see 2nd string play!

Some of the pro-football teams did not play any of their starters during the last week of exhibition games. Who would go to a game and pay to watch that? Can't figure that out. Am mystified.

FWIW I think the exhibition game tickets should cost no more than a minimum price to cover expenses like paying the light bill and the employees. I never watch them on TV and I certainly wouldn't pay a premium price to go in person.

Exactly. So why do they do it? To get away from the wife and party with the guys?

Just about all NFL teams make the exhibition games part of the season ticket package.

So if you want season tickets - you have to buy em.

But what about the people, like my grpwn-up neice and her husband, that just go to one game - and to watch bottom tier players? At least when they went, they got to see some of the stars for the first number of series, play.
