Outdoor Basketball Court Flooring

Hi Forum,
So the last post I posted I got great feedback so I am posting again. So i have a co-owned outdoor basketball court near my house. The flooring is just plain asphalt/concrete and the surface is slightly rough and often dusty (very hard to play basketball). So i was thinking of redoing the flooring to something better. I've read about rubberized paints that can provide a good court like feel to any surface. But i don't know anything about this.

Do you know any CHEAP(emphasis!!) and efficient ways to get a good surface to play on.

thanks forum

Paint/stain won't adhere well to a dusty substrate so it will need to be cleaned prior to applying any coating. I doubt any type of rubberized coating would be a good option, I can't see it holding up long term. A concrete stain should seal and prevent the dusty conditions from returning and while stain can wear away, it won't peel and should be easy to recoat later on. I'd suggest going to your local paint store and discussing the project with them. They should know which of their products would work best in your climate.

Just re read your post is it asphalt or concrete?
