Coke 400

Wow....how that fence could stop that car that fast is amazing considering how fast they go there. Lucky there wasn't more coming behind it into the stands.

Little creepy how it was the 3--on the final lap--at Daytona (although not the 500).

Nice to see Junior finally growing up, he drove me crazy with his 'mental lapses' in the past.

That was one scary wreck! Had it not been for Kyle Larson's wreck a few yrs ago in the nationwide race I believe the spectators would have been hurt more. They beefed up the catch fence after Larson's wreck.

I can't believe they run the race that late at night. I can't help but wonder if the lateness [drivers maybe not 100% focused] of the hour contributed to any of the wrecks. The race was way past my bedtime but since I no longer have a job, I was able to stay up and watch it. Couldn't imagine staying up that late and going to work the next morning ...... but it has been a long time since I was young

Yeah, I missed it. I have other thing I like Sunday night. I've probably missed the replay they usually do Monday as well.

Can't watch online videos on this old PC, so guess I'm SOL.

NBCSP ran it today 1:30 to 4. No way did I think they'd run it last night so I went to bed.

Yeah, too late for me as well. I've been asked by someone who did stay up whether Harvick will get any punishment, as he was the cause of the wreck getting in to Hamlin and my buddy thought Harvick did it on purpose. I've heard nothing like that anywhere else, though.

While I'm not a Harvick fan, I'd be hard put to blame him. He did turn Hamlin while pushing him but he was also being pushed from behind. Kind of hard to have 20+ cars grouped tightly together bump drafting and not have a wreck.
