Help identifying this species of termite, if it is in fact a termite.

There is minor termite damage to my garage and need to identify what type of termite I'm dealing with first. Any ideas? Thanks.

Well, you haven't given us... anything. Clear in focus pictures of them would help alot. Worst case a detailed description would be a start. You can also search the Internet. There are many sites with pictures and descriptions of the differences between species. But if all you want to do is kill them they are, I think similar enough that you don't need to identify the species.

There are different types of termites (Drywood, Dampwood, Subterranean, etc.) and depending on what type it is depends on the method of removal.

I don’t think these are termites. Admittedly I don’t have much experience with dry wood termites but all termites have similarities. Show us a picture of the damage. Your garage may have termites but don’t think these are termites.
