Is this a termite?

Woke up to a bunch of these in my swimming pool (pool light on all night) which is in a screen enclosure as well as some along the windows on the outside by the pool. I live in NW FL panhandle.

Thanks
Michael

Definitely not a termite. It's either an ant or a smaller type of wasp. The parasitic wasps can be quite small. Not a carpenter ant, either.

The large amount would indicate ants, as ant/termite swarming is a reproductive behavior. Wasps don't do that, they are solitary in behavior. I'm not familiar with all the species in Florida, but I feel certain these are harmless.
