Need Thermostat Install Help?
When you do post for help, please provide us the make and model # of the new and old thermostat itself, furnace/air handler, outdoor unit, and how many wires you have in the wall.
With those full details, we may be able to help you wire and set up the thermostat to get better results than you may of had in the past with the older thermostat.
An example.
With this post, I am able to help the poster wire up the new t-stat, and set up their furnace to run on a 2 stages than a timer putting the furnace into 2nd stage.

I need help hooking up a new stat to a Trane XV90 furnace, model #TUY060R9V3W, and currently have a Honeywell T87, and upgrade it to a Honeywell VisionPro TH8320, and have 8 wires in my wall.
