Replacing Williamson Thermostat with Lux Smart Temp

I recently bought a house built in 1973 and am replacing what I believe to be the original thermostat with a new programmable one. Only problem is that the wiring in the old one doesn't match the instruction book. Here is how it is set up:

Williamson Quartz Chronotherm #T8082A1171

C ( #1 There are 2 terminals labeled C) - Gray wire only running to the Rc Terminal

C (#2) Gray Wire

RH Red wire

Y Yellow Wire

G Green Wire

Rc Red Wire and connected to the C (#1)

W Gray Wire

New Thermostat is a Lux Smart Temp 1500b with Terminals:

G
Y
W
Rh
B
O
RC

Connecting wire between RH and RC.

I'm not sure why there are two C wires and the Connecting wire goes to different terminals than is labeled in the new directions.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

What are you planing on doing with the old stat? Reason I am asking is that I collect Williamson stuff, and I'd be happy to take it off your hands.. Will be willing to pay shipping.

RH Red wire

Rc Red Wire and connected to the C (#1)
Are these red wire by itself, or two seperate red wires?

Is your furnace oil heat with A/C, or what do you have now?

Ok, found the manual for this t-stat.

the "C" with the grey jumper is for the clock timer.

But I will wait till you post back from my questions from the last post.

The RH and Rc are two separate red wires and yes it is oil heat with A/C.

If I can get the new thermostat working, the old one is all yours...

Old------------color---------New

RH--------Red wire----------Rh

Y---------Yellow Wire----------Y

G-----Green Wire-------------G

Rc-------Red Wire-----------Rc

W------Gray Wire-----------W

be sure you make a note on the wire itself to match the old letters.. If you get them mixed up, it will short out the transformers. Also, be sure there is no jumper wire between Rh and Rc

The Grey wire that was on C will be dead since this t-stat only uses battery to run.
