Easy thermostat question

I know this has got to be an easy setup, I just can't find a simple solution. I want to use a thermostat to control a 110v circulator. simple as that, I don't need a hi/lo or aquastat, my temp is controlled elsewhere, just a simple contactor that runs off a thermostat to turn on a 110v pump. What would it be called and where can i find it?

Use a line-voltage thermostat. Plenty of options.

thanks

thanks for the reply, but I should have said that was the first option I thought of, but I already have an thermostat installed that I want to use and I didn't want to run 110v wiring all the way up to that part of the house. I would prefer to use a 24v thermostat, any other ideas?

You can use a relay.. Run low voltage wire from the t-stat to the relay.. Then wire the pump on the relay.. However, You'll need to get a 24volt transformer.

I know I need a transformer to power the thermostat to turn on the relay, but what kind of relay do i need? I have been searching online for 24v/ 110v relay with no luck.

Any SPST (single pole single throw) relay will work.

Just as long the coil side is 24 volts. Not sure what you are looking for on the 110 side?

SPDT Relay?

I am having a hard time finding a SPST relay, can I use a single pole double throw relay? If it wouldn't be easy to do can anyone tell me where I can find a single pole single throw? how about the boiler boss sr-100 relay?

Yeah, you are right, the SPST are harder to find, so yes you can use the SPDT relay, and see you can find them maybe at Ace Hardware, other wise they are on line.

how about the boiler boss sr-100 relay?
What you mean "how about"? do you mean use this instead of the Honeywell?
