Thermostat installation help
Hello;
I'm experiencing a problem while attempting to update my current thermostat.
I removed a Simple Comfort 2200 with the following wire settings:
R – RED
C - BLUE
L - BLANK
B - NO WIRE
O - ORANGE
W2 - WHITE
G - GREEN
E - BROWN
Y1 - YELLOW
Y2 - BLANK
I am trying to install a new Ritetemp 6022 thermostat but cannot figure out the wiring (mostly because I'm not sure which diagram to use). Does anyone have a schematic for the Ritetemp 6022 color coded as above?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.

Well lets see here. Not familiar with the ritetemp t-stat but you will need to follow the schematic for a heat pump single stage with aux heat coils.
R – RED 24 volts power from the transformer
C - BLUE Common wire from the transformer
L - BLANK typically a warning light apparently unused
B - NO WIRE For heat pumps that energize the reversing valve in heat mode
O - ORANGE For heat pumps that energize the reversing valve in cooling mode
W2 - WHITE 2nd stage heat (if the heat pump cannot keep up it pulls in the aux heat coils)
G - GREEN Blower fan
E - BROWN Emergency heat pulls in the aux coils only
Y1 - YELLOW Cooling and heat pump mode pulls in the contactor
Y2 - BLANK 2nd stage cooling apparently unused) your unit is not capable)
Where exactly are you having a problem at heatedinflorida?

This stat, is one stage short for your heat pump with this RiteTemp.
You need to take that back and get the Honeywell RTH7500 or RTH7600 model to work with your staging.
