TH8320 Install Help
I am replacing a Honeywell T8112 with a Th8320U. Need a little wiring / setting help.
HVAC unit is a TRANE Heat pump with a gas auxiliary heat.
Four wires come out of the wall. Red, White, Yellow, Green.
Red, Yellow, and Green are landed on R, Y, and G terminals on the TH8320. Have tried the White wire on W, Aux, and Aux jumpered to E.
Have tired different settings for 170 without any luck.
I am pretty sure that the white wire should be on Aux with a jumper to E, but am not sure about the program settings.
Can anyone make a good educated suggesting to me.
Mike

You are going to need more than 4 wires for heat pump.. Are you sure you have a heat pump?
Follow the t-stat wire from the wall to the furnace... Does it go right to the furnace, or does it go to a board, then to the furnace? If it goes to the board, you have a duel fuel board.
