New Trane HP Sytem with IAQ thanks

Got new Heat Pump System installed.

Satellite Beach FL, 94Deg at 89% RH not uncommon.

I was unhappy because my RH was 59%. at 78.

After reading a couple of hundred posts I was able to make some
changes to my new Heat Pump setup.

I turned on Comfort R or (Enhanced mode) and reduced CFM to 350
and my RH dropped to 50%.

I installed a new IAQ Tstat set dehumify with A/C
and now I am at 45-47% and 78 degrees.

I am finally happy and my wife is comfortable.

I owe it to this forum and the experts here, thanks alot.

Please Verify my wiring and setup, maybe we can squeeze out some more moisture.

New Trane Heat pump system:

4TTR5030E HP Compresser 2 1/2 Ton

4TEE3C04A1000AA Communicating Air Handler with LCD setup
( 1 Heater Model BAYHTR1408 )

Honeywell VisionPRO IAQ with EIM ( no other sensors )

My initial wiring

======================================================
EIM-----AH

C-------B

R-------R

( R RC RH Jumpered and connected to DHM1 )

DHM2----BK and removed the BK--R jumper on the AH

O/B-----W1

AUX

Y-------Y1

Y2

G-------G

==========================================

This air handler has the LCD Setup Screen

Using this screen in the 24VAC mode. Trane

Does not default to Enhanced Mode ( Comfort R)

So I set the following:

COOLING CFM-----------2/12 Tons

CFM PER TON-----------350

CLG STAGES -----------STG1

CONT FAN CFM----------50%

FAN PRERUN DLY--------1m50%

FAN SHRTRUN DLY-------7 1/2m80%

FAN OFF DLY-----------2m50%

HEAT CFM -------------I forget ( default ) maybe 1100CFM

note1- When I press 'more' on IAQ I get the Dehumidification control screen
with the AUTO/OFF option. IAQ manual says the AUTO/Off is only
present when using whole house dehumidifier
( not present when dehumidifying with A/C).

Glad to hear she's happy, and so are you.

Glad to be here to help you and everyone else out.

You need to change the wire as below.

EIM-----AH-------HP

O/B-----O--------O

AUX-----W1------X2

I'd suggest setting 220 to 1.

What do you have for filter? (For #500)

I have 600 set to 72˚, and 610 to 70˚ on mine, that way kids can't mess the temps.

Must be a miss-print. That display is normal.

0383=3 note2
Didn't see any note #2?

Jay thanks again for your quick reply

My first post had 220 set to 1.
Did you mean something other than 220?

There was no note2, I forgot to remove the reference.

Here are some settings I gleened from another of your posts
Putting them all together
=============================
EIM----Air handler-------HP
R*-----R----------------R
C------B----------------B
O/B----O---------------O
Aux----W1--------------X2
Aux2---Not Used
Y------Y1---------------Y
G------G

DHM2--BK
========================

AC contractor had
OB----W1 then to HP and no O to Air Handler or HP

Can you tell me what these leads control

on Air Handler

BK
R
O
G
Y1
Y2
D
B
W1
W2
W3

on HP

R
B
O
X2
Y

My Air Handler is currently sealed up with alum tape to stop
some air leaks. Inside of unit had lots of condensation.
Contractor came out and sealed cable entrances, door seams etc.

I don't want to cut off all the sealing aluminum tape until they
come back in a couple of days so I can't change the connections for a while.

Thanks again

No, I may of over looked the 1 in the first place.

That's needs to be changed! If you call for heat, you are going to run both HP and electric heat at the same time. Going to have a very high electric bill with this.
Can you tell me what these leads control
on Air Handler

BK--Dehumid control
R--Power
O--Blower profile for HP mode.
G--Blower
Y1--First stage cooling
Y2--Second stage cooling
D--?? (Never seen D before)
B--Common
W1--First stage heating
W2--Second stage heatng
W3--Third stage heating

on HP

R---Power
B---Common
O--Reversing valve (in heat mode)
X2--Defrost (turns on W2 while unit is in defrost)
Y---Compressor

Huh? How is the unit set up? On it's side or upright? Tape should not be needed, unless the unit is in very bad shape (or poor install.
