Hello, I have a furnace and thermostat that dates to the late 1980's. The thermostat is a Honeywell Chronotherm III, model #T8602C. Here's the manual for this model: [url]http://www51.honeywell.com/pacific/common/documents/T8602_T8611_Chron.pdf[/url] One frustration I have with this thermostat is there doesn't seem to be a way to adjust the cycle rate. The furnace runs properly and heats the house well, but it cycles on/off way too often, sometimes over 10 times an hour. I've pored over the manual, and I didn't find anything about adjusting the cycle rate. The only things I can adjust are: System type (electric, gas, etc), which is set to gas and Adaptive Intelligent Recovery on/off I tried turning off the Adaptive Intelligent Recovery, but that hasn't helped matters at all. Hello, I need assistance installing a new thermostat. new thermostat = hunter 44860 programmable old thermostat = honeywell T8411R 1028 heat pump = Lennox elite series HP29-036-1P air handler = CB29M-41-1P This is a 6 wire system. original honeywell tstat set up: green wire to G terminal blue wire to C terminal red wire to R terminal yellow wire to W1 terminal (W1 jumpered to Y terminal) white wire to W2 terminal orange wire to O terminal Please let me know if any other information is needed and thanks in advance for your assistance.
