HoneyWell RTH230B Intermittent Problem

I just replaced the old None Programmable honeywell thermostat with the RTH230B. My system is a 4 wires system: Red, White, Green, and Blue. I connected as follow: Red to Rh, White to W, Green to Y and Blue to G. There is a jumper between Rh and Rc on the RTH230B, and another called Jumper 2 connecting HG which I left in place as recommended in the installation instruction. Initially the thermostat seems to work OK. But it intermittently shutdowns lately. I used both manual and programmable modes. I set the setpoint @ 68 degree in manual mode. At 67 dergree and below I heard a relay kick in, then the furnace running then turn off after 10 seconds. I noticed that the flame was shut off and the blower still on. On the RTH230B display at this point It shows the temp in the house is @ 60 degree, and a falme icon shown at the right side of the LCD indicating that the furnace is running. Did I damage the furnace circuit board during the installation because I did not shut off the main switch located @ the furnace. I did switched off the system at the thermosat before installing. Please help.

Was this how it was wired up on the old t-stat?

If it's running, I'd say you didn't damage anything.. if you did, it would not be running at all.

If the t-stat is showing call for heat, then I'd say it may be the furnace.

What is the make/model of the furnace? If it's a newer one, see if you are getting any error code on the board.
