Wiring for new white rodgers thermostat

I am replacing a White Rodgers 1F60-22 thermostat with a newer one i bought - 1F86-344.

The unit is a combo heater and AC (I don't know the brand or model)

The old wiring is W Y G R - the only thing I am confused about is that the old thermostat has a jumper between W and Y - the manual for the new one doesn't mention anything about a jumper between those 2 being needed.

IF there is a jumper on W and Y, I am guessing you have a heat pump?

Going to need the make and model of your equipments.
