My Carrier Thermostat has no power

The thermostat is blank and I have checked all the breakers. Everything is on and working fine. I checked the switch on the air handler and it is in the on possition and I turned on and off the little switch inside the cover on the air handler....and nothing. Please help

1: the 24 volt control transformer in the air handler is bad.
2: the fuse (if your system has one) for the the 24 volt transformer is blown. This will be an automotive type fuse inside the air handler.
3: a bad (open) wire in the 24 volt circuit to the thermostat.
4: bad thermostat.
5: batteries in the thermostat (if so equipped) need replaced. Some digital thermostats are set up to use internal batteries for operation instead of 24 volt power from the air handler.
6: the control board (if so equipped) in the air handler is bad and not sending 24 volts to the thermostat.
