Aprilaire 8570 wiring problem
I installed a Aprilaire 600 Hum. and pulled new wires for a Aprilaire 8570 the orig wires were only 4 strand My problem is there is no C on the T-stat this is what there is W1, W2, RH, R, RG, G, Y1, Y2, B, O but no C after the O is the AHC connections on the otherside of the t-stat there is another wiring block with IDS, ODT, CIR GND, ZA, ZB, C the wiring diagram that is with the t-stat shows the C on the same side as the other wires

You will need to fish a new (18-8) wires for "C", if you can't run new set of wires, then I'd suggest to return this stat and get a Honeywell RTH7500 or RTH7600 that can run on battery.

Thank you for contacting us with regards to your model 600 Humidifier and 8570 Thermostat. The common terminal is labeled C. Different revisions of the 8570 have had the terminal in different locations. Based on the layout you describe, this is a version 1 thermostat and its C terminal is in the lower left hand corner.
